however, I do want to say that the history of Terot cards would be worth looking up. I can’t recall the names involved but the synopsis is, Terot began as a card game. I couple of people (wealthy bored folks) developed these images to play a game of cards at their parties. It was never meant to be a “fortune telling” endeavour. It has nothng whatever to do with that and never was. Those who first began using the cards in that way were Gypsies as a way to make money from unsuspecting dupes. They assigned meanings to the cards. It’s all so ridiculous and I agree with Clif High that some respect is lessened for those who use Terot cards as if they were authentic.
